Claremont-Mudd-Scripps sophomore teammates Elle Marsyla and Riley Capuano placed second and third, respectively, in the women's 6-kilometer race at the NCAA Division 3 West Regional at the Riverside Cross Country Course in Riverside, Calif. Marsyla clocked 21:53.5 and Capuano ran 21:56.4 for the Athenas, who secured their sixth consecutive West Regional title with a 32-74 victory against George Fox. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps will compete Nov. 18 at the NCAA Division 3 Championships in Dickinson, Pa.
